About a month ago we sold my little Subaru impreza. While I loved that car it was not a ute, and could not tow a float.
With the money we got selling it we looked and looked and finally bought a 2007 Nissan Navara ST-X. It's a 4x4 6 speed turbo diesel ute with a lockable hardcover on the tray and a cool after market DVD/GPS/Radio thingy ma bob that has reversing camera connections. It has a 3000 kg towing capacity. It also picks up pretty quick ;)
We have put a tow bar on it and I am waiting on the electric brake control box thingy to arrive in the post. Andrew also bought me a reversing camera so we will install it when it comes in.
I can not wait to tow with it!!!

ooh now that is snazzy looking! I have a Nissan Xterra to tow my lightweight trailer. I love it. Unfortunately, it's getting old and I think we need a truck (for hay/shavings etc).
Awesome! Nice truck! One must is a transmission and radiator cooler don't tow without them.

What a great looking ute. We actually looked at one yesterday. My Husband would love a ute and I would also like something with a bit more grunt than my Prado. Happy towing!!!
